Let's Discuss Your Next Training Initiative
Whether you need self-paced technical courses, workshop facilitation, or curriculum overhaul, I'm ready to collaborate.
Interfaces 102: Building Dynamic Interfaces
Overview: This self-paced technical module guides developers and application designers through the core concepts of the SAIL (Self-Assembling Interface Language) framework. Learners master how to write expressions that bind data, handle user events, and construct reactive UI layouts.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Compare and contrast Design Mode and Expression Mode to determine when to use each.
- Store and manipulate data within an interface using local variables.
- Apply looping functions to scale your component configurations.
- Use links to capture user input.
- Configure and manage user data entry using the Editable Grid component.
Transform Your UI Designs
Overview: This hands-on ILT workshop was delivered at the Appian World conference in 2026 to an audience of customers and business partners. Development of this workshop involved creating a replicable user sandbox where learners could perform the exercises, writing and testing the exercises, and rehearsing with the facilitator to ensure technical details and timing.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Use Appian’s “forward flow” to generate application interfaces.
- Create and manage interface test cases.
- Add an interface to a user site homepage.
- Configure site branding with custom CSS.
Intro to Product Architecture
Overview: This self-paced conceptual course introduces learners to the software architecture for a point-of-sale solution. This course is targeted to technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Learning Objectives:
- List core microservices employed by Product-Y
- Describe the benefits of MVC architecture for the client UI.
- Explain the purpose of databridges between modern and legacy environments.
- List key Product-Y use cases.
SQL Query Optimization for Support Engineers
Challenge: Support personnel needed to diagnose slow database queries quickly during live customer escalations.
Solution: Built bite-sized video tutorials using Camtasia coupled with interactive quiz checks.
Results: Cut average ticket resolution time by 30 minutes.
